Spell Numbers 1-100 In Russian Words
To write and remember the correct spelling of Russian numbers from 1 to 100 you first have to understand the language rules for writing numbers into Russian words.
It is best to learn numbers from 0 to 20 by heart, because you can only begin to use logic for writing numbers when they are bigger than 21. The numbers 1 and 2 can have different genders.
From 11 to 19 digits always have a 'nadzat' as an ending and the ending single number at the beginning. Starting from 15 to 19, last letter 'Ь' of the last digit is no longer needed. If you know the tens(such as 30-90) and have memorized the numbers 1-9 then it is easy to create numbers up to 100. Simply connect the tens with the respective digit.
For Hundreds the second syllable changes for 200(sti), 300(sta), 400(sta). Starting from 500 it will be ('sot) that is connected to the basic numbers.
