Spell Numbers 1-100 In Italian Words
To write and remember the correct spelling of Italian numbers from 1 to 100 you better learn the language rules for writing numbers into Italian words.
The minimum recommended numbers to know from memory are 0 to 19, because this will make it easier to form bigger numbers into words. Numbers from 11 to 16 end with the tens digit 'dici' whereas 17 to 19 begin with the tens digit 'dici'.
Between 21 and 30, Italian numbers are formed by placing the word 'venti' before the last digit.
Remember that in Italian(as in English), the tens are placed in front of the singel digits(numbers from 30 to 1000 are formed analogously).
Anything over one hundred and smaller than a thousand is formed by prefixing the name of the hundred number with the rest of the words without spaces.
