Spell Numbers 1-100 In Danish Words
To write and remember the correct spelling of Danish numbers from 1 to 100 you better learn the language rules for writing numbers into Danish words.
Numbers from 0 to 12 are represented by unique words(whichi you should know by memory) and those from 13 to 19 as a combination of the partly changed last digit and a ten.
All tens bigger than ten are multiples of 10(20 tyve, 30 tredive). From the number 50 the decimal numbers follow the Vigesimalsystem, they are based on the multiple of 20. One place before the tenth place is pronounced.
The hundred digits are formed by the corresponding number word from 1 to 9 plus 'hundrede': 100 = 'et hundrede', 300 = 'tre hundrede'. When writing out bigger numbers such as hundreds(hundrede) and thousands(tusinde) spaces are used for all digits.
